FACULTY ASSOCIATION ELECTION RESULTS

The Faculty Association officer and representative election has concluded. For the 20010-2012 term, the officers for the Association will be:

Lewis Long, president
Paula Jacobs, president elect
Lee Haggerty, past president
Allison Camelot, secretary
Bill Hewitt, Treasurer

The balloting for the Membership Chair position produced a tie between Loma Hopkins and Kris Leppien-Christensen, which will have to be determined by a run-off election.

Please see the election results report for the list of Representatives for each division and school.

In several cases, in which there was no candidate for a specific position, write in candidates were elected.  When there was a clear majority, the written in candidate will be contacted to determine if she/he is willing to serve, and if so, that person will occupy the position.  In the cases where there was a tie between write in candidates, all candidates will be contracted, and if more than one desires the position, there will be a run-off election to determine the winner.

Thank you for your participation in this process,
The Faculty Association Election Committee
