The current faculty contract expires on June 30th, and the Faculty Association is about to begin negotiations for the next contract. In preparation for negotiations, the Association is developing the faculty's sunshine proposal, in which the Negotiating Team publishes to the District and the public, during the March meeting of the Board of Trustees, the articles which it proposes to modify.
To make sure that the proposal reflects the goals of the faculty, the Association is conducting a survey of the faculty members. All faculty members, whether or not they are Association members, may participate. The survey is available now, and will conclude at midnight on Monday, March 22nd.
